Movie Night!

The Church of the Good Shepherd movie nights are held the third Friday of each month at 6:00 pm.
Admission is free
We are selling popcorn + a juice box for 1 dollar.
As a small Church, we are always looking for ways to connect with our lovely community. Who doesn't love popcorn and a good movie? Add that to wonderful people and how can you go wrong? We are planning to continue these movie nights and we aim to attract others into our home to join with us in friendship.

Shepherd's Pantry

The Shepherd's Pantry is located at Long Plain Methodist Church, 1215 Main St., Achushnet and is open from 9-11 AM every Saturday for anyone in need. We always need volunteers. If interested, speak with Pat Krosschell.
Remember: Canned goods are needed ALL year round, NOT just during the Holidays.

Spirit of Grace

The "Spirit of Grace" is a special service for families of Autistic and other Special Needs children. This program is a joint effort of The Four Churches of the Southern Cross ( St. Peter's, St. Andrew's, St. Martin's, and Good Shepherd) and endeavors to provide a spiritual and meaningful faith experience in a comfortable, informal setting. The services are held on the second Sunday of every month at 12:00 noon for younger children and the 4th Thursday of the month at 6:00 p.m. for teenagers and young adults in the Judith Clarke Center at St. Peter's Church, 351 Elm St., So. Dartmouth.
Visit our website!

The hour-long program includes storytelling, crafts/activities, and a celebration of the Holy Eucharist. All children must be accompanied by a parent or caretaker.

Church Flyer

Evangelism is the preaching or promulgation of the gospel. We must rely on our faith and trust in God now more than ever before. Along with the word of God, we must promote our Church. We know how amazing and loving Good Shepherd is, now it is our mission to tell others! Please download this flyer and display it with pride!

Sanctuary Lamp

The 2015 Sanctuary Lamp Schedule is on the table downstairs. If you would like to bring in flowers or purchase a candle for a deceased loved one or in honor of a living person or a special occasion, write the person's name on the scheduele for the date you would like to reserve.
The cost for the candle is $4.00 and should be given to Kathy. If you're buying flowers for the following week, make sure Kathy is told so that she doesn't purchase flowers as well.
